About Us

Matthew & I met on our first day at university over 30 years ago!

Since then we have brought up three wonderful children in Hertfordshire but have never forgotten our shared love of the natural world; mountains, moors, lakes, forests, rivers and most especially our beautiful coastline.

It was then a no-brainer decision to buy Sandpiper Cottage when Matthew first visited the development back in January 2014. Even though the place was a building site, we could both see the potential, safe in the knowledge that the breathtaking views would remain unchanged forever! Our only regret was that we hadn’t found a place like it whilst our children were still young and could benefit more from such a magical place. All grown up now they enjoy visiting, independently or with us as a family as often as we can manage.

We believe that Sandpiper offers the perfect place to relax, explore and enjoy Cornwall at its very beautiful best, regardless of season.
